United Way Dinner
In my family, I am incredibly lucky because my best friend's dad and my dad are best friends. This means that we look for every excuse to get together-birthday's, Sunday dinners and especially holiday's-at last count our Thanksgiving celebration had 45 people! Every year "the dads" as we have nicknamed them, offer up a special dinner for Carle Hospital's United Way fundraiser. The winner of this much sought after occasion, receives an incredible 5 course dinner, wine pairing with each course, and table service. Avon cooks, my dad provides the wine, and a couple of lucky daughters get to help serve (ahem...eat). This year my dad asked me to take some pictures of the evening, and I happily obliged. I already cannot wait until next years dinner!
