Last month I attended Photo Native in Palm Springs, CA. My goals were to try new things and push myself outside of my comfort zone. So when I found out Richard photo lab was offering free film camera rentals, I jumped at the opportunity! Before this, my only experience with film were a point and shoot camera and those awesome disposable kodak cameras from my high school days. I rented a Nikon f5 and used most of my film taking pictures of Sullivan (who was only 7 weeks old!). I absolutely fell in love with the (unedited!) results so much that I just bought my own f5 and plan to incorporate a lot more film photos into my work. Here are some of my favorite pictures of my Sully boy.
